New Franklin is about 17 miles in a straight line from our East Canton shop, which makes it one of the more convenient Summit County communities for us. We work regularly in neighboring Green, Canal Fulton, Barberton, Lakemore and Norton.

Lake Houses Need Different Attention

Many homes around the Portage Lakes started as summer cottages and were expanded over the years. Plumbing added during those changes may run through crawl spaces, under decks or along exterior walls where it is exposed to wind and cold. Low lots near the water can also have damp basements and crawl spaces that wear on pipes and fittings.

Containing a Leak in a Lake Home

We offer emergency plumbing and leak containment. If a pipe breaks, close the main shutoff right away; on a well, turn off the pump at the breaker so it stops pushing water. Shut off the water heater, drain the lines by opening a low faucet and move anything valuable off the floor.

For homes that sit empty part of the year, a leak can run for days. Before leaving for an extended stretch in winter, shut off the main and keep the heat set high enough to protect interior lines. Annual Plan and Getting Started

A yearly inspection catches freeze-prone lines and tired equipment before they fail. Our maintenance membership is $189 for twelve months or $378 for three years. It brings priority service, emergency support, 10% off labor and materials, no minimum service charge, transferable coverage and automatic renewal.
