Pot Fillers: Planning Before the Drywall Closes

A pot filler needs a dedicated water line run inside the wall behind the range, and that line has to be anchored securely, protected from freezing if it is on an exterior wall, and fitted with an accessible shutoff. That is easiest during a kitchen remodel when the wall is open. Adding one to a finished kitchen is possible, but it usually means opening the wall and patching afterward.

Touch and Touchless Faucets
