Building a Project List

Before you call, walk through the house and write down everything plumbing-related you'd like done, even items that seem minor. A dripping tub spout, a toilet that runs now and then, and a kitchen faucet you've wanted to replace for a year can often be handled together. Common combinations we see in Macedonia include:

Model numbers and photos

If you've already chosen fixtures, send the model numbers. Photos of the area under the sink, behind the toilet and around the water heater show us valve types, pipe materials and clearances.

Key measurements

Toilet rough-in, sink hole count and spacing, and the height and width of the space around a water heater. These determine compatibility before anything is ordered.

Known problems

A valve that won't turn, a slow drain or an old leak stain. Knowing about it ahead of time means we can bring the parts to fix it.

Preparing the House for Install Day

A little preparation keeps the day moving. Empty the cabinets under any sink we'll work on, clear a path to the water heater and main shutoff, and move fragile items away from the work area. Have new fixtures in their boxes on site and opened for inspection, so missing or damaged parts are caught before we arrive.

If anyone in the house works from home or needs a bathroom at specific times, let us know. We'll sequence the work so you always have water somewhere in the house whenever possible and tell you before we shut off the main.
